Tovala meals of chicken cooked with Korean chili sweet BBQ sauce, with white rice and broccoli with a sesame-ginger dressing, crunchy noodles, and some bulgogi soup dumplings from the Korean market.

Craig got 1 of my dumplings and at least 1/3 of the rest, and I'm stuffed.

Had a St Hubert frozen Tortiere. Usually have that in December when I make my own but one of those whims.
Had a 1/4 of it along with some french fries. Drizzled all with ketchup. Very satisfying. Another 1/4 will be lunch on Thursday and froze the last half for another day.

I toasted a plain formerly frozen Royo bagel, the rest of the cream cheese that wasn't moldy, a bag of ends and bit of lox from Trader Joe, and crammed on it as much leftover salad that would fit. I had some pudding afterwards.

DH bought sushi after physical therapy and drank the last beer in the house.

The dumplings look so YUM!! I love all kinds of dumplings with filling. Perogies, chinese dumplings.

Those soup dumplings are on my Never Have I Ever had and my Bucket List to buy to try and to make.

A new Korean market opened several months ago not too far from us. It's HUGE, clean and the employees actually speak English. They don't in a lot of the Asian markets here. One wall of the store is devoted to freezers on the floor and wall with all kinds of Asian dumplings. Their produce is super nice as well. Good selection of frozen Asian cut meat items too. Plus, they have take out items as well.

I made soup dumplings once, then decided that's a restaurant or frozen dumpling food item.

I had a busy afternoon yesterday. I walked more than I'm used to walking, so I was tired, but not exhausted when I got home. I decided to order out. I got Lebanese food: chicken schwarma, roast potatoes, bulgur, and coleslaw. There was a choice of sauces. I took harissa and garlic sauce, it looked like toum. Unfortunately, there was a giant blob of harissa across everything. It had an unpleasant bitter note along with some interesting notes. It felt hot at the back of my throat, but didn't taste very hot at all. I didn't really like it, especially deep into my coleslaw. The toum was in a large blob as well, but it was nice, with no unpleasant flavours. Other than the harissa, I enjoyed that meal. Yes, I have enough for at least one more meal for me. The bulgur was a nice option. I prefer wholegrain bulgur to white rice.

I'm glad to see you walking and that is taking care of yourself. You might think no one notices but I notice. Getting some exercise pushing yourself a little, it all matters.

Hey taxy! Sorry that harissa spoiled your meal a bit there, that is one of my favourites.
Hear you on the walking, haven't been to the gym for a while and I can really tell. Son doesn't say anything but he knows. I just have to break the stasis. Truly miss walking, but doubt it will ever happen, thankfully there are a lot of other things at the gym and the pool to help make up for it.

I wouldn't say that the harissa ruined the meal. But, it would have been better without. I'll have to try harissa again at some point, with some harissa recommended by someone familiar with good harissa. But, I really did not expect a huge blob of the stuff over all my food.

I'm reminded of once, on an outing to a diner, with the Girl Sprouts, I was stuck sitting next to one of the adults. I was very, very carefully tipping a small amount of ketchup out of the bottle of Heinz. I had already had a "glorp" episode, where the ketchup comes rushing out. That was why I was being so careful. I wanted a small blob of ketchup to dip a French fry into, once in a while. I did not want ketchup all over my fries. Well, that adult didn't have the patience of an eight year old. She got fed up waiting and tipped the bottle of ketchup that I was holding so there was a lake of ketchup across my fries and contaminating my burger too. I couldn't even get an apology out of that b__ch. I just got met with, "It's no big deal."

Oh oh, sounds like something i would have said...
It absolutely ruined my meal. It was sticky and sweet and horrid. I was appalled that an adult would treat a child as though they were less than fully human. Would you have rushed the child by tipping the ketchup all over their food?

No I would not have done that, maybe helped her scrape it off and then I would have said something to the effect of "that's life, learn and move on." AND I would have apologized and meant it.
