I get Dash magazine published by Parade, and they have a recipe for S'more cookies that you can bake in the grill.

Has anyone tried this? I would love to bake anything in the grill rather than heat up the oven....

Directions:
1.
Set up your grill for indirect heat, and preheat to 350F. Lightly oil cookie sheet or line with foil.

2. Using a tablespoon, scoop the cookie dough onto the cookie sheet, pressing down slightly on each to form about 1/2-inch thick rounds.

3. Place your pot or springform pan indirectly over the heat (the cool side of the grill), and place the cookie sheet on top of the pot or springform pan, to elevate the cookies. This allows for sufficient circulation around the cookies as would happen in an oven. Close the grill lid.

It should work fine. The difficulty with doing this is maintaining a constant temperature. If you have a three-burner grill, one burner should be all you need.

Do a test run with the pot and cookie sheet - everything but the cookies. See if you can maintain a temperature of 350º F. Mark your knob so you can reset it to that position and go for it.

The ring part of a springform would be best to ensure good heat circulation.
