A friend of mine name Johnny Slider from Austin came up with this recipe. I was going to call it a Bloody Johnny but that just didn't sound right. So I came up with a name that sounds more in keeping with this spicy south of the border version of a Bloody Mary.
1 16 oz. bar glass half filled with ice cubes
2 shots (3 oz.) good quality vodka
1 squeezed lemon wedge
1 shake of black pepper
1 dash of Worcestershire sauce
1 to 3 dashes of Tobasco sauce depending on your courage
2 shakes of Cavendish Greek seasoning
1/8 teaspoon of horseradish (prepared)
1 shake of seasoned salt (preferably Lawry's)
and enough V8 juice to finish filling the glass
Stir mixture thoroughly and add a lightly salted stalk of celery.
