1 - 10 oz. package frozen chopped broccoli
1 - cup uncooked minute rice
1 - small can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
1 - soup can water
1 - 8 oz. jar Cheez Whiz

Cook broccoli using package directions; drain. Combine broccoli, rice, soup, water, and Cheez Whiz in 2 quart casserole dish; mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly.

If I don't have cheez whiz, then I will use the velveeta. I've never added the chicken chunks because it's usually more of a side dish, but that sounds like it would be great. Thanks for the feedback!

Coincidentally I just made this Friday. I spread bread crumbs on the top to get a real nice "crunch" with this delicious casserole. My wife calls it a "party dish". I use only the flowerettes, reserving the stalks for the cook (me hahaha).

This is one of my favorites. I love to make a big batch, and take the leftovers to work for lunch. I always use Cheese Whiz. I see mbasiszta uses breadcrumbs. I think I'll try that next time I throw one together.
