So, they are not in the shells? I would just carefully toast them on a dry frying pan. Low to medium low heat, shake and flip them frequently, until they become fragrant or start to get dark.

you cant roast anything in a microwave

you can heat things up

Toast them in a small skillet over medium heat, no oil. It's faster than the regular oven and you are less likely to forget, which I am famous for doing.
