You could have a trojan horse virus, or it could be that someone is just using your address from their computer. That happened to us at work.
No way of stopping that.

2 things I'd right away if you don't have them (both are free)

Download AdAware which gets rid of spyware on your computer.

Download Spybot which will get rid of some other programs that
may using your computer.

Just google "Download Spybot" etc, it should come right up.

In ur house, eatin ur foodz.
Most likely, someone that has your address on their computer got infected. The virus on their computer collected all the names in address books, web page cache, etc. It uses those names to spoof the sending address by altering the headers...when it hits an unreachable address, the host delivers a failure to whom it thought sent it....You.

[quote="Burnt Food Dude":391h5p44]Lately I've been receiving a lot of returned email as undeliverable, no such person at..., etc.

Some spammer/s is apparently using my email address to mail out his spam and viruses.

Being fairly stupid about such things, is there anything I can do? Besides setting my spam filter to get rid of the unwanted crap. I'm afraid that someone, that receives an email from my address, will start some sh** and get me in trouble with the spam police.
get a new email address and stop surfing porn.  [/quote:391h5p44]

No please, I'd rather get spammed!
