For those of you who made the Daylight-Saving Time change last night...did you use it wisely or squander it  ?

Guess we used our hour wisely because we were soundly snoozin' when the change occurred. Nice comfy bed with the electric blankie set at our preferences. I wouldn't call that squandering.

As usual, I changed all our clocks at about 4:30 p.m. I've discovered, over the years, that when our clocks move either forward or backward, doing it at this time doesn't seem to bother us a whit.

How'd everyone else fare?

Daylight savings time just needs to go the way of the Dodo. Can cause disruptions to sleep and circadian rhythms, which can lead to health risks like increased heart attacks, strokes, and workplace injuries. It takes me a few weeks to get used to the new time.

I prefer making DST permanent... all year around. I don't like when it is dark at 6PM, and hate it when I'm driving West at 5PM, and being blinded by the setting sun.

squander? seriously?
enjoyed a glorious morning stay in bed nap . . .

resetting clocks is very stressful and time consuming . . . .

I didn't even notice, at first, because almost all my clocks set themselves. It was the microwave clock that reminded me of the time change.

I just now remembered that I need to set my Grandfather clock. I don't hear the chimes, anymore -- my brain has tuned them out.

Though I would personally prefer to stay on standard time, I would be fine if they would select a time and stick with it. Like others, it takes me forever to make the adjustment when the time changes. Even though I have retired, the time change remains a headache for me.

I put it to good use by sleeping. I have reset the clocks upstairs. I have to read the instructions every year. They are digital. I still have to set the clock on the MW, the stove, and an analogue wall clock in the living room. That one will be a nuisance, since I will have to climb to reach it. Maybe I should find a new place for it. I no longer have a tall husband (who chose that spot) to change the time on it without climbing.

I have no idea what happened to that hour. I must have squandered it.
I reset the microwave and stove times, everything else resets itself, mr bliss resets the alarm clock upstairs. Neither of us resets the truck clock and we let it be off by one hour for half the year. We don't care about time that much for the past 10 years.

I always hated reseting my car clocks, because it wasn't intuitive. I had to get out the manual. My current SUV sets itself, for DST changes, and when I cross time zones.

I completely forgot about it :ROFLMAO:

I didn't even notice the difference in time on my phone until my son reminded me that I needed to change the clocks in the kitchen yesterday. I got up at my usual time thinking it was the usual time.
