The impact of changing clocks forward or back is less for retired folk. We're not generally on a rigid schedule as when we worked for a living. Aside from set appointments involving others and the TV schedule, things are pretty flexible.
For example, I get up in the morning when I wake up and feel like getting dressed. i may or may not eat breakfast sooner or later. I eat lunch when I 'm hungry. Dinner is usually around 7:30PM. We go to bed when we're tired. That could be anywhere from 11:00 to 2:30. Or 10:00 to 1:30. Or 12:00 to 3:30.
I would like the clocks set to permanent DST for the convenience of having more daylight when most people will most enjoy it.
