Popcorn and a martini - its been a really yucky day here and the sooner it ends the better - okay, maybe two martinis.

I took pork chops out and put them in the fridge this morning in anticipation of dinner, but for a late lunch I made two double cheeseburgers using 4-1/4lb patties and potato wedges, so those chops just may wait til tommorrow.....

tonight's my union's christmas party (anyone in earshot is invited) at kennedy's on west 57th in nyc. a huge buffet, and all you can drink from 4p to 10p, on my union. we call it the $1300 dollar meal, as that's about what we pay in union dues. so i'm looking to make back my $1300.

i'll be there for a while, but have to go home since i have to be back in at 11p.

if anyone shows up, just tell them you're a guest of buckytom, from control. i'm sure someone will know me, and they'll take care of you. i'm sure they'll tell you a few stories before i get back in.

i didn't make it up to the party as dw needed me at home. i'm waiting to hear from some friends (in the industry) that were my "guests" to see if they made it/how it went.

i just heard a buddy from the discovery channel made it. he's probably still there, asking women what's their sign, slurring back, "i'm a feces"...

well, since i didn't get to eat dinner, i'll head up to the bar and drag those who can still stand up to big nick's for souvlaki.

hmm, qsis made me hungry the stage deli, so i may go there.
