made a pork scallops dish, pounded some pork very thin, dusted them with flour, then did a saute in evoo and butter, removed the meat added some sauteed mushrooms, then added some marsala, scrapped the brown bits into the marsala, reduced it some then added heavy cream,stired til everything came together, put the pork back in, lowered heat and simmered about 5-6 min.Served it with the sauce..Had just yummy whipped potatoes with butter, sprinkled both the pork and the top of the potatoes with fresh chopped parsley. we had some asparagus, a big green salad and warm bread..Dessert was strawberry yum...Nice day, everyone is stuffed and on their way home and I'm relaxing here with you:)

gourmande - your star anise scented rice sounds divine!

kadesma - I'm so jealous of your meal - but then again I am most of the time when it comes to your meals!

I ended up going out with a friend - will have tomorrow what I was having today.
