Dinner Wednesday, December 11, 2024?

(No dinner threads since December 8?)

Last night's dinner was pot roast, buttered egg noodles, spinach, and pan au jus. (Half for dinner, and half for breakfast. Yum)

Went out for our annual dinner with the other members of the condo assoc. board of trustees and the property manager. We ate at a local restaurant. I had chicken parm. and a molten chocolate cake for dessert.

Made a beef stew and 2 meat loafs and last night was beef stew.

Had a Spicy Chicken packet of Noodle Soup. I've had this before (same brand? not sure? I buy by price) and I really quite love it. On the spicy side and that's good. Added some extra baby napa cabbage. Very yummy. But....
for some reason - this time when that spice hit the back of my throat - each and every single time - I flew into a coughing fit. LOL thought my son would come running down to see if I needed an ambulance - seemed to just go on forever!. Spice on the back of my throat always hits my cough trigger but never like this before.

Had a couple of veggie sausages and some Brussels sprouts.

I had bacon and a couple of duck eggs accompanied by mushrooms, a bunch of sautéed greens, and toasted rugbrød (Danish style heavy rye bread).
