OMG.... I've just realized, I too have a fork like that! I use it only for steaks - and I do not often have steaks. LOL
and like you have no idea where it came from but I've had it for years. It has super pointy slim tines. So for some reason I think of it only being good for steaks. Go figure!
May I join your club?

I’m that kind of person too. I have an assortment of little “quirks” that probably make no sense to anyone else.
I have a special spoon that is only used for my ice cream. I have favoured chopsticks, my own pen, all kinds of things that I only use for my specific reasons which I can’t articulate.

Strange how we come to those habits. But... there it is.

(why do I suddenly want to say "whoop!" :ROFLMAO:)

When I have an evening of mixed drinks (nothing fancy, just Canadian whiskey and diet cola) I have one cup that I use and no other.

So yeah. I think many people do these things, but don't really realize it until it's brought up somewhere. Then they're like "Oh yeeaaaaah... I have this for that and that for this..."

During the pandemic I had meals delivered from Jewish Family Services. They came in the containers shown below and I would wash them out and save them for leftovers. For example, spaghetti and meatballs, spaghetti in the larger section and two meatballs or one meatball and one Italian sausage link in the smaller section. I would then cover it with a piece of aluminium foil and freeze it for another day. Some had three sections, which were perfect for meat in the larger section and potatoes or rice and a vegetable in the two smaller sections.

I drink my coffee in one of several large coffee cups. They hold somewhere between a cup and a half and a cup and three quarters of liquid each. We bought four of the blue glass cups about 20 years ago, for a buck each at Dollarama. I still have three. I love that shade of blue. Then a while later (a few months or a couple of years) on another visit to Dollarama, we spotted the blue and white ones with the flowers and really liked those. We got six of those, also a buck each. Those soon became our favourites, mostly because the coffee stays warm better in the ceramic ones. I'm down to two of the blue and white with flowers, and one of them has a small chip. I drink tea out of one of several large mugs. I think they hold about 3 cups of tea each, maybe only 2½.
I forgot to post the pictures.PXL_20250221_235100888.jpgPXL_20250221_235216659.jpg
