Does avocado with yellow flesh low in oil and taste?

Avocado's are high in fat but it is the good fat. Not sure what you mean by taste?

im comparing a more green flesh to yellow flesh. from my experience the ones with yellow flesh are not tasty most of the time.

Since there are many varieties out there, I for sure don't know them all! LOL I just find the subtle differences in colour too difficult to distinguish. Especially since I rarely buy them anymore. My DIL happens to like the Haas variety.

Do you happen to know the particular type you are referring to?

i guess wating until the peak of the avocado season is the best idea if i can't stand super bland avocados that are 'lean'.. some people in israel said that you can get good avocados now too.. i will not bother to buy and throw......

and i like avocados but i'm not too enthusiastic about avocados even when they are perfect..
