Emojis

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that enjoys cooking.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
They have a special name -'extreme emoji's' for lazy people. They are much faster than cliking in several places to bring up a picture. Of course, they could always enhance them by enlarging and/or colouring them. By that time.... not much faster, eh?

But that one doesn't pop up when I type a colon followed by facepalm:

This is what I get:
🤦

Or these choices:

That animated face is much cuter. Is that something we used to have with the old forum software?

I like emojis that move.

I used to collect emojis when you could still save stuff on Photobucket and at one point I had over 500 of them. I got most of them from a website and if I remember the name, I'll post it here. It had literally thousand of emojis in every category you can imagine.

Huh. I notice my littlest mouse on the end isn't moving anymore.

I think your little mouse must have gotten tired. After a rest, he's moving again.

OK, guys, it took a while and it's not called Heather's animations anymore, but here is a website to give you all your gifs and emojis desires.

Scroll down on the left to "FOOD". There's 6 pages of food.

 wish there was a way to make them slightly bigger - not too much of course, but just enough so as I don't have to squint and press my nose against the screen.

sometimes just typing a description between colons works - but although those are the descriptions of the facepalming above - didn't work. But heart and blush do.

Well, like CD and I have already stated, we're too lazy for that

I'm lazy too but to stop typing, take my hand away from the keyboard, grab my mouse (or worse control the touchpad), roll the curser around to find the right emoji I want... is annoying to me. I did a lot of typing thru out my life (at one point I was over 90 wpm and when I'm in the depth of something, probably a lot more) so I personally find it faster and easier to type out.

Edit:
I might mention that was also on a manual typewriter.

That makes sense, if that's what you're used to doing. Which is kind of my point, actually. I'd rather just click up above and select an emoji from the available ones here in the reply box rather than wasting time browsing through the ones I have saved to my computer, then attach the file or insert image, whatever you need to do.

There are times when I know I have a saved emoji in my picture files that is perfect for a comment so yeah, I'll go search it out. But I'm usually in too much of a hurry - LOL and lazy!
