Hey guys - I need some habanero's for some jerk Chicken and the only thing the grocery had was packs. I needed 3, got 15. Can you freeze these babies?

Yes, they freeze nicely. You don't even have to blanch them.

I buy large bags of jalopy (jalapeno) peppers all the time and I freeze them two ways; I cut the tops off all of them, then I slice half of them for burgers, sandwiches, etc. and I split the other half open, remove the seeds and ribs, and thinly slice theminto strips to add flavour to my cooking with not so much heat.
