I guess this is the Friday, January 31 meal thread?

I'm still in Houston, and went to the Thirsty Texan next door to my hotel again, and had an outstanding club sandwich with enough tater tots on the side for a family. The place is a genuine hole-in-the-wall dive bar, but the food is excellent, and my sandwich and tots were $11.99, and as I already mentioned, I couldn't eat it all.

I go home on Sunday, and will have my normal five pounds to lose.

I made a tray bake of carrots, celeriac, sunroots, a small wedge of cabbage, green beans, and little meatballs made with the rest of that medisterpølse sausage mix that I mixed up yesterday. That was pretty darned good. The sausage is usually made with pork or pork and beef, not just beef. I was really noticing that difference today. It was a little bit dry. I guess I overcooked it a bit. Now, I really want to try it, both with just pork and with pork and beef.

Late afternoon had a yummy hamburger, dressed with dill pickles, cheeses, pepperoncini, roast onion mayo. Yummy ergo no supper.
Late snack while watching TV nibbling on a bowl of Harvest Crunch, no milk.
