The ancient Hawaiians ... there were no cows until, I'm thinkin' like late 1700's ??

I have seen recipes for "Hawaiian Meatballs"
(go ahead and do a WWW search... there's tons)
but I'll pass thank you :shock:
Meatballs don't have to be made only of beef. I think Chinese and Japanese fish balls count, as well as pork, chicken, etc.
 
It was my neighborhood's Third Friday Happy Hour last night, which includes a potluck. I made Chinese-inspired meatballs with a sauce made with honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar and sesame oil. Good thing I saved some in the fridge for DH (he went golfing and met me there later) because they were gone by the time he got to the party.
