Washing Up
First, let me preface this by saying that I do enjoy watching both "The 'f' Word" & "Kitchen Nightmares", & will continue to do so.
That said, has anyone here besides me noticed the TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE waste of food on "The "f" Word"???
Okay, while I completely understand the man wanting to adhere to high standards, time & time again he has his "brigades" throwing perfectly acceptable food "into the bin". TONS OF IT!!!!
Just the other day he admonished his crew of having had to "bin" nearly 75 portions of sea bass. HELLO?? And while the portions relegated "to the bin" might have been slightly overcooked per Gordon's standards, they were nowhere even CLOSE to being burned or charred or anywhere near to where I'd be binning them. Just not up to his standards. Same goes for pretty much every single food item cooked in every single episode. Not up to Gordon's standards - into the bin. Even if the total would generously feed an apartment house of poor folks for a full day.
I'm not saying he should serve this food in his restaurant, but shouldn't there be some other resource for what - to me - looks like lovely food being relegated to "the bin"???
