Have a question about getting new cookware

I've looked at the IKEA sets, and they seem pretty light to me. Light cookware tend to have hot spots. I do not use stainless, but the Costco set seems like a good buy in the price range. Fairly heavy and well made.

Did you buy a set already? I am also looking for a set and think the one posted by Bob is the best deal. Thnaks to this website I almost plunked 1000 for a knife set and 600 for cookware from Bed Bath Beyond.

I do not have alot of experience cooking with stainless but would love to own a set for my home..
