Welcome, netnut! This is a great site. Sit down, get comfortable, and stay a long time.

I'm a former Marylander. How are things in the Old Line State these days? Been gone from there for 13 years and don't miss much but the wonderful blue crabs.

Hi Katie, I've been living in Southern Md for 43 years. The blue crabs are still as good as you remember. If I can ask,was your move for your Excecutive Chef's job?

No, netnut, my move to Kentucky had nothing to do with my "Executive Chef" position. As you learn more and post more, you will earn your cooking "wings." You will move through different levels, one of which is Executive Chef. The title is just DC's way of recognizing members' participation.

My husband, Buck, and I came to Kentucky as a semi-retirement move away from federal government service back in the suburban Maryland/Washington, D.C. area. We were there for 30 years and left there in 1994. Glad the crabs are as good as we remember.
