Hi guys, I'm new here and I am just loving this website! My 3 year-old Diana is very excited about what recipes I will find! She wants me to find a recipe for her sprinkle birthday cake! Does anyone have any suggestions about how many sprinkles to add into a standard vanilla cake batter? This website looks great and I am excited to have a community of fellow cooks around me for advice! Thanks guys!!!

Welcome Carol! I have made a few funfetti cakes in the past (having a few little ones in the house calls for lots of sprinkles!!!) I would recommend 1/2 to 1 cup of sprinkes depending on the size of the cake. A good tip I learned from my Mom is to also mix in some flour with the sprinkles before adding them, so they don't sink to the bottom of the batter (in case you didn't know).
