I'm sorry you didn't understand that my answer was meant to be funny. It sort of seemed to be asking for a silly comment.
oops, sorry... perhaps "silly" should be accompanied by an emoji = no misunderstandings...

or the one I love the most is/was yours!

I'm big on Christmas. After Rich died in 2011 (!) I got an artificial tree. I abandoned that tree and this is the first cut tree I have gotten since moving to New Mexico. And have only gotten the lights on so far. Also pictured is stockings I made, oh, 30 some years ago.

I don't think we'll get a tree up this year but we are talking about getting to it in January, covering it with a big bag, then opening it for a day to run lights in July, then again October to the end of January next year. We'll see. The whole conversation went off the rails and we both thought it was so fun, we might just do it like that.

"Memory Lane"
my ex nearly gave me a heart attack one year. I walked in to find him burning the Christmas tree in the fireplace.
His first witnessed viewing of me going ballistic. I have to say he'd never had an indoor fireplace before but still....
