I posted in the soup section, but noticed that nothing much has gone on there in a few weeks. I am looking for a good recipe for pepper pot soup. One that doesnt include tripe!!! YUK!! Also, some call for green peppers and other recipes call for chili peppers. My mom remembers eating this as a kid, and it was very spicy so I assume the chili pepper recipe is closest.

Thanks guys. I tried the google search, but there were sooooooo many variations. Heck, some didnt even include spicy peppers. Of course, maybe since it has been 55 years since my mother tasted it, she wont know the difference. She also mentioned there were very few kids who would eat it.............must have been the tripe!!
