I just joined, and thought I'd introduce myself

I'm twenty-seven years old, hailing from Australia, and I loved to cook. I am physically disabled and have reached the stage where I cannot cook any longer myself, but I still help my family when I can, and research recipes.

I live in New Orleans, which has it's own brand of cooking. What do you like to make? Are there some special dishes from down under?

Yeah Time-zones can be weird.

I loved to make home-made pasta & lasagne, desserts including cakes, quiches, pizza, and other dishes from scratch. No pre-made dough, lord no When I was able to go fishing I used to cook what I caught, too.

I'm not aware of any particular Aussie dishes because my family's Italian, sorry!
