Ideas for Ham roll ups?

so yesterday I'm shopping for the Super Bowl party, and Food Lion
was having an in-store only special..deli ham for 1.99 a pound.
Too good to pass up, so I got two pounds, and picked up some
sun dried tomato tortillas to make some roll ups/pinwheel thingys.

So I'll spread cream cheese on the tortillas, layer on the ham, roll
em up and slice em.

Any ideas about how to jazz em up a little?
I was thinking about either pineapple or olives...your thoughts?

think I'll make some with grated swiss and olives, some with
pineapple. Will cilantro go with that? Or should I go with another
milder green?

Hey Cappy favorite around here is what is called a Lavosh(?)

go get some soft tortilla shells
16 oz cream cheese
ground sage
ground nutmeg
lettuce,shredded
tomatoes, dice, seeded

soften cream cheese to room temp

lay out tortilla shells
spread softened cream cheese on tortilla shells, kinda like you would spread jelly on a piece of bread
sprinkle sage and nutmeg on top of cream cheese , nutmeg is strong ,so go lightly first time out
lay out a bit of lettuce over that
put a bit of tomatoes on top of that

roll up tight, like a burrito or taco

after you make em all, put em fridge for 1- 1.5 hours to harden cream cheese

take out, slice in 1/2, 3/4in slices and arrange on plate..

optional....1 put your favoite cheese over cream cheese mixture, then continue with the other layers

2 put honey mustard or a little ham glaze top of ingredients b4 you roll em..

just edited some options in there be sure to read it fully now.. works with other cold cuts as well

a favorite is also turkey meat.. and we make a pesto sauce to put oover mixture ..

really good.and versatile these Lavosh

once you 've got the concept down your imagination is your only boundry

We've put sun dried tomatoes on em

carmelized onions on roast beef

roasted garlic spread on em

Tapanade with either olives or artichokes

there's so many choices to pick from

Something a little less eloquent..the wife calls them alligator eyes...cover the ham with cream cheese, and roll around a dill pickle. slice in 1/2 disk's. Always a crowd pleaser !
