Do keep in mind folks that Poke does not have to be raw.

Above is an assortment from when we were in Hawaii this past June.
The Octopus is cooked as is the Mussel and Shrimp, ONO (that's Hawaiian for delicious) !!

Whatcha makin'?

Verrrrry slow day here today. We didn't put our feet on the floor out of bed this morning until nearly 10 a.m., which is pretty late for us.

Good day for leftovers from last night.

At least I finally emptied the dishwasher that was ready 2 days ago and have a load of laundry in the dryer, so today isn't a completely lazy day.

Oh, in case anyone is curious, I handwashed the dishes from the last two days.

It's too early for dinner, and I have no idea what I am going to make.

My one and only attempt at poke turned out to be pretty good. Not the best thing I ever ate, but it certainly didn't suck. Oh yeah, it was raw tuna.

I haven't had the guts to buy this. Did you get mild or medium? I'm a whimp when it comes to spicy hot stuff.

Thanks for the interaction @Kaneohegirlinaz .
Brings back memories here from before the time you joined.

I got the medium. It's probably all my local store had anyway.
It wasn't hot or spicy. Just flavorful with a little heat. I chilled it if that made a difference other than thickening it up.

I'd recommend it. Someone from another food site who makes his own likes this brand, too.

I went in blind, wanting to jazz up my fajitas, and I love it.

I had the last of the chicken Stroganoff. I put it on top of brown basmati rice again. I also had a salad of red crisp lettuce, shredded cabbage, thinly sliced carrot, a tomatillo in thin wedges, and some cucumber. Oops, I forgot to put any onion. It did seem to be missing something. Dressed with my batch vinaigrette.
