Hello, I'm Patrick. I have a burning question about a project I've just completed, and I Googled "cooking forum" which lead me straight here. Which is actually really cool; I don't know why I never thought to look for this before.

Well, my question is fairly obscure, about making an Amish Friendship Bread starter (which is kind of a sweet sourdough sort of project, so it's a little weird). I posted it over in Baking, but I haven't seen any responses yet, which isn't terribly shocking, given how random it is.

But it's still really neat to have a cooking forum to frequent. :)

Ah! I remember the post, but was on my way out the door when I read it. I posted a reply, just now.
 
Wow that wasn't a coincidence. Anyway, I am also a newbie in this forum.
It is so nice to be here and as a food enthusiast, I expect to learn a lot
from here and be able to know more about cooking and stuff.

It's nice to know you are from Earth...I usually say, "The Milky Way" :LOL:
