Is it just me or is the forum taking a very long time to open today? Pictures are loading very slowly too. Not sure if there's an issue somewhere on the backend software or the web host? All other sites I've visited are loading fast as usual.

Thought you might need to know in case someone needs to investigate.

I tried to visit a couple times earlier and got a "Site Unavailable" message. Fine now though.

Sir LOB it was only this site, why should you reboot your whole computer for a site? Is there a reason?
Because all of us were coincidentally having computer issues at the same time and it wasn't the site :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Restarting your computer closes all programs, clears your computer's temporary memory (RAM), and reloads the operating system for a fresh start, fixing many software glitches, slow performance, and connection issues by resetting processes, applying updates, and removing temporary files that build up over time. It gives your system a clean slate, improving stability and security, unlike a simple shutdown which might not fully reset everything due tofeatures like Fast Startup in Windows.

Well that would make sense if the issue was with forum members' PCs, but that wasn't the issue. It was an issue with the forum website. There were several people having issues with this website and this website only.

BTW, think most everyone here knows how/why to reboot their PCs. That's pretty basic stuff.

Nicely and well said Sir LOB. Thank you.
As I think it was only one web site that I was having problems with it wasn't cause for me to reboot. It did come to mind, I often overload the poor thing but as soon as I cruised around and saw no other problems didn't think in this case it was called for.

It was for me earlier this evening. I posted in the country style ribs thread and when I hit "post", it just sat there for a while and my comments ended up being posted 3 times. So I had to erase two of them, since we can't actually delete.
