ISO Air Fryer Experiences

I bought a Cuisinart air fryer, toaster/ oven. I got it because what I really need a second oven, but there's no way that's possible for me. The one I got was a good deal it. I bought it because a good friend adores hers and uses it all the time.

What I have found is that it does all the things it says it will do but not as well as frying or using the oven/broiler. The thing about it is that it does everything fast. It comes to temp in no time, and doesn't heat up your house like an oven does.

I can see it being a very useful tool for someone who has to put a meal on the table but doesn't have time nor the desire to cook. I use it, but I wish I had spent my money on something else.
 
You can't make batter coated foods with an air fryer, only breaded items. A beef batter would simply drip off, as would a tempura batter, or batter for onion rings, etc.
