The few times I needed to talk to Amazon CS I put my phone number in and got a call within seconds. No problem.

I had a package "delivered" by UPS 3-4 years back. Back when taking a pic was still not the norm. I never got it.
You could clearly see the picture was of the box still sitting in their truck
I got it the following day.

I guess they hadn't fully explained the picture taking thing to their driver.

My pot got moved back up day. Should be here today :)

Speaking of kitchen candy...
Someone just brought me a box of chocolate covered truffles.
Yum :)

Wow. My pan got here already.
Usually UPS is several hours later in the day. Nice surprise.

The handle came unattached. My first time seeing that. But it did come with a small open end wrench to put it on. And I also tightened up the helper handle, one acorn nut was not tight at all.

I debated putting some red loctite on the threads, but we'll see if they ever come loose before I do that.

It recommends seasoning it with a little oil, so that was done after I washed it.

GTG.

I think my first use will be some loaded mac and cheese.
But it's certainly big enough to steam mussels in, too ;)
I didn't measure it, but it seems larger than 12in.

ETA:, no, it's 12in.
My guesstimator must be off.

Had to look up Cobra Chicken. aka Canada Goose. LOL - love it, a perfect description. Fairly recent (2018) but very funny - and true!
That is exactly how a Canada Goose sounds with the hissing and striking pose. Actually any goose for that matter but Canada Geese can be extremely aggressive especially breeding and nesting!

We have Canadian Geese here in Columbus, Ohio. They are nasty little  and I have to drive around them all the time going to and from work, since they hang out on the street where our offices are located because one of the big office buildings has a large pond with fountains, where they tend to settle.

And, for the record, goose droppings are gross. I have to often dodge those as well when walking to my car in the parking lot.

They pass through North Texas on their way to the marshes on the Gulf coast. I shot my one and only Canada goose near Sabine Pass, Texas. It was dry and tough. Never shot another one.

BTW, duck poop is nasty, too.

Facebook has a group for The West Island, which is the west end of Montreal Island, where I live. Someone posted a picture and complained that people shouldn't leave their dog's poop on the sidewalk. Immediately, the replies came flying in. "That's not dog poop. That's goose poop." There must have been about 15 of those replies by the time I saw it. I thought that was pretty funny.

Back when I golfed there were courses with greens by a pond and it was SOP to have to clear a path from your ball to the hole.
No angry geese though.

I remember reading about a town somewhere in the New England states that had a huge problem with the geese in their town, They were a menace. From attacking people to soiling the whole town square. They could not do anything about it "Protected species".

Yes it is. But at least ducks are friendlier.

I miss feeding the ducks that lived in the pond behind my mom's house. Those ducks would literally sit in our yard, waiting for me to come home, because they knew I'd give them some food. One duck in particular (named him Big Bird, he was a huge white duck) would follow me into the house, if I'd let him. He got in a couple of times and I had to put him back out.

But those ducks would sit there waiting for me to come back outside with their treats.
