Looking for the movie name.

I am sorry, not sure where else or even how to look for it, please help me.
Few years ago there was this movie, something about a band. I do not know name, I do not know the name of actors. All I remember that it was about a band. On the poster there was a picture of two or three yong girls, wearing kind of like cat ears. I think the name of the movie was "something, something and the cats" maybe? If somebody remembers please help.

Josie and the Pussycats. A revival of the cartoon by the same name.

Yep, Josie and the Pussycats was my guess, too.
In spite of liking the cartoon, the movie escaped me and I could not get through it all.

I haven't seen either one. But in a conversation it cam up, but nobody could remember name, or actors. Must not have been a good movie.
