No doubt CD. Lately I've been making a "shot in the dark" which is basically a shot of expresso added to my drip.

I recently found my old percolator from my camper in the back of a cabinet. I've been using it. That old school coffeemaker actually makes a good cup of coffee. I'd forgotten that.

Right, exactly, it needs to be on bread, glad you agree, we are of one mind, lol.

I like a good butter on toast but I wait until the toast has cooked down somewhat so the butter doesn't melt. I like the cool and creamy mouthfeel of the actual butter as opposed to bread with the butter just soaked in. Yes it might sound crazy to some people, lol. :D
I'm just learning that other people do that too. Yes, that creamy mouthfeel of the butter is luscious. I can also get that mouthfeel when I spread butter on knækbrød, crisp rye bread.

I literally just had a midnight snack, twelve minutes after midnight. Smoked chicken on a roll with mayo. I'm now having a second glass of egg nog. I'm thinking I should sleep well tonight.

Definitely not crazy, the complete opposite!
Like @Jusa I like to double butter on toasted goods, some melted in and then an extra layer of unmelted. Especially on a crumpet.
Oh dear I’m still full from yesterday and yet now need crumpets 😂

Buttered toast with peanut butter. Has to have the butter first, just not the same without it.

Peanut butter & Jam sandwich - in this case, no butter under the peanut butter but must have first on the bread before the jam/jelly/pickles etc. Unless it is a peanut butter and banana - then it is a light smear of peanut butter under the banana.

Them's the law!

I love me some crunchy peanut butter and strawberry jam on toasted bread. I can't eat raw bananas, but I know Elvis approved of PB and nanner samiches.. (y)
