My after midnight snack snack:

So thought I'd have an early midnight snack and decided to make some tomato and cheese soup .... so there were two issues:

1. Shredded Mozeralla Cheese doesn't melt too well in soup
2. When I added the cheese the stuff boiled over and went every where.

In the end I got lumpy bloody soup and a disgusting looking stove :(

And lastly, I didn't have Campbells soup so had to use some food club variety and it doesn;t taste any where enar as good as Campbells :(

Some one shoot me (just joking in case anyone gets any ideas) ...

I let the stove top cool a bit before I began cleaning the mess - sprayed everything down with that Dawn Dish Spray stuff and let it soak in. Once it had I used a plastic egg lifter (spatula) to scrape the crud off - well that was my intention anyway - I broke the spatula .... seems I am having one of those days/nights and can't get anything right :(

I hate having a day like that. I suggest that you leave it until tomorrow. You have a wife, don't you? If so, either tell her why you are leaving the mess or put a note explaining it on the stove.

Have just finished cleaning the stove - lots of paper towel soaked in white vinegar and left to sit on the mess for awhile then scrapped and mopped up - looks like I don't need a new stove after all :)
I'm glad to read you didn't just make it worse. It's the kind of thing that can happen when you are having that kind of day.

Adding mozzarella to soup? Oh no, it will never melt, you'll only get strings and lumps. 😁

Thats what happened exactly. Last time I made Cheesy Tomato soup I used a shredded Mexican Blend I think and used milk with the condensed soup and that worked perfectly.

Buttered toast with peanut butter. Has to have the butter first, just not the same without it.

Peanut butter & Jam sandwich - in this case, no butter under the peanut butter but must have first on the bread before the jam/jelly/pickles etc. Unless it is a peanut butter and banana - then it is a light smear of peanut butter under the banana.

Them's the law!
Peanut butter and. . .pickles?

My post Midnight Snack Snack -

Two Banan Snagers on white bread with sugar topping

Reminds me of elephant ears or fry bread for some reason.

Also, I'm assuming banan snagers is banana sandwiches?

Also cinnamon snail snacks. Cream cheese on white bread followed by rolling up the bread, dipping it in butter, then rolling in cinnamon sugar. Then you throw it into the oven to crisp up the outer crust of cinnamon sugar. 10 year old me thought it was the best.

That's a new one - never heard of snails before - sounds great but also sounds like you would 'have' to use Wonder Bread in order to roll it up like that.
