Today I posted a video about eggs. I wrote a little blurb; pasted the link to the video and and then asked a question.

When I tried to post the thread, a message window popped up.
Oops! We ran into some problems.
Please provide a more detailed message.
So, I typed some more and it let me post it. What I had typed wasn't really relevant to the post, so I wanted to edit that out. I deleted the irrelevant bit and tried to save the post. I got the same pop up window. I took a screen shot.

I went back and typed a bit more and it let me save the edited post.

Is there a minimum length for the first post in a new thread? Is there a different minimum length for the first post when there is a media link included?

I get the "oops" message very often.
Seems like a time out option to me

Sometime I get " I posted to quick" which seems weird since I type with one finger on my phone and I have to look up where the letters are.

see my previous post? it's only one letter and it was allowed.

it made me wait 20 second to post again, though.

Sorry guys, I'm too far down the food chain to help you there. Could just be your connection/internet/www is taking a hic-cup moment and you clicked 'post' before it recognized and could catch up.

BTW, I posted a clam recipe for you.

OK back on subject sorry.

I'm curious if there is a minimum. I tried a number of times, so I don't think it was a brief timing issue. I have never seen it with other thread starting posts.
