A "play it again, Sam" meal of Stuffed shells with Ricotta, sausage, mozzarella. Got a tiny bit dry on top, left to long to brown, never-the-less quite delicious. Froze the other six.

Believe me Ginny, were you to say to me "com'on dragn, I rot some fish for you" I'd flash straight to McD's whom I dislike completely (other than their hash browns). I'll pass on rotted fish, rotted anything for that matter.

ps.
for those of you whose mother tongue is not English, I'm praying Ginny actually means she cooked the fish in the rotisserie.

Of course...just shorthand for rotisserie...sorry to comfooose...

P.S. Thinking I'll rot some chicken skewers tonight!

Even for my teeth that are so used to crunching bones, I find metal skewers a bit hard to crunch. Do you think wood skewers would survive the rotting?

I'm not sure what I wanted to have, but I wanted to have it with some of the white bean mash with artichoke bottoms and asparagus. I could not find it. I checked the fridge several times, moving lots of stuff to make sure it wasn't behind something. I looked in places it shouldn't be. I checked both ovens and the microwave. I checked cupboards. I checked the dining room. I eventually found it later last night. It was in the fridge in one of the containers that I had moved several times to make sure it wasn't behind it. D'oh!

So, I had cold smoked salmon with cream cheese, onion, and capers on a wholewheat bagel. This time I took Ginny's suggestion of mixing everything together and the smearing that spread on the bagel. I have been meaning to try this, but I didn't know how much of each ingredient to add. So, the last couple of times I have had this, I wrote down how much of each ingredient, so I could get the right proportions. I had a sandwich later, since this wasn't much food on its own.

I had my usual Monday night supper, which I hve eaten every Monday night for as far back as I can remember except when I was serving my country and making the world safe for democracy. Center cut loin pork chops braised in Campbell's pork & beans. My Sicilian mother's Americanized version of Braciola di porcu e fagioli all ‘Ucceletto.
