i can try to upload a video of the sound later..
it is like the scaling machine of a dentist [the sound]..

something is wrong with it in your opinion??

it happens when im pouring boiling water from the electric kettle into the pot and boil it on high heat..

tnx

Try making sure the pot is not wet on the bottom? Place the boiling water in the pot and give it a few seconds for the heat to penetrate the metal pot, then place on the burner.
Mine made noises at times but don't remember the exact circumstances.

here is a very short video.. you can hear it after two seconds..

by the way.. it is a miele stove

It sounds like roaches screaming in pain.

Seriously, it sounds like either the burner or the pot, or both, are wet. Mine makes that noise if I have run a wet rag over the surface and didon't bother to dry it.

It could also just be air trapped in the impurities of the bottom of the pan. As the air heats and any moisture in the air evaporates it will probably explode being trapped under the pan.
Sounds just like mine did. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
