I got this spoon free when a neighborhood grocery store sent me a “welcome to the neighborhood “ gift. It’s so beat up. I’ve bought newer and better spoons, but this one seems to be in my hand most often. I don’t mind gear w patina and stories. All the visible stains and burns are a result of some meal I cooked for my wife or friends.

(My go to sheet pan in background-I have cleaner ones. Barely cleaner).

Wow boom, looks very similar to mine! I bought a pkg of 3 spoons eons ago. Still have one of the larger ones but the small one is my favourite go-to. It's at least 30 years probably more like 40 years old.
and the wooden spatula another favourite especially for a frypan, but is maybe only 15 or 20 years old.

Good thread boom!
Come on people! Let's see your favourite spoons!

I don't use a spoon too often. I use mostly bamboo spatulas.

I prefer bamboo to other wood utensils because the bamboo are lighter and thinner. They're cheap and durable so when one splits, I toss it and buy another.
