a couple of years ago the wife and i went to a BBQ joint while on a road trip , the bbq wasn't bad but what got my attention was the fried okra , it was simply the best i have ever eaten , so when we got home i set about copying it , what i came up with is this : 1/2 cup corn meal, 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup Tony Chachere's creole seasoning , it is a perfect match for the bbq joint's

I've only had it air fried with seasoning on it no breading and I liked it a lot. I could eat that all the time.

i did not know about the 10 post per day limit .......i have longer conversations with my puppy dog than that so i guess they don't want folks talking much here ...anyways put it all in a gallon plastic bag to coat it and deep fry at 350 for exactly 7 minutes

I think that is for new members only. It prevents a spammer from joining, and loading the forum with crap. One of the mods can explain it.
