National Dessert Day - How are you celebrating/eating tonight, Tuesday October 14, 2025?

Since we usually shop for groceries on Tuesday and it tires me out, I decided that Tuesdays shall now be called "Pizza Tuesday!" Glenn's not particularly fond of tacos so this works just fine.

Tonight will be some form of Freschetta frozen pizza and to celebrate this lovely dessert day, we'll enjoy some more of the homemade lemon fudge I made. There's lots and we could just be dessert "piggies" if we choose!

I think a PB&J sandwich and some cantaloupe.

Through out the day I had a variety of dishes from the fridge. Some eggplant, baked potato, couple of stuffed mushrooms, huge heap of rice soaked with Mushroom Artichoke leftover sauce.
A couple of tangerines. Small handful of Pita Crackers.
I'm good.

Another dinner at the hotel bar. BLT on ciabatta bread. Tasted good, but like grumpyoldman's burger, very messy to eat. The fries were perfect!

The Rebel Alliance suffered a setback today. In an unusual circumstance the Empire's taco truck crashed in the produce section. Alliance service droids swooped in to clean up the mess.

They packaged the waste as TACO SALAD.

I feel a need to repeat that those fries were perfect. Crisp on the outside and tender and fluffy inside. Perfectly seasoned. I make excellent fries at home, but these were at least as good as mine, and possibly better.

Spaghetti aglio e olio, with capers, anchovies, black olives, peperoncino.

I had Danish comfort food. It's called millionbøf. I had it on top of riced potato. Along with that there was rødkål (sweet and sour / pickled red cabbage) and old fashioned Danish cucumber salad. I really enjoyed it.

Went out for dinner last night celebrating Angela's Birthday. We had the tasting menu. which is also where I work and have fun with food.

It would be ideal if this restaurant was nearby and I could still eat the way I could when I was younger.
