It's a dark, rainy and cold uck kinda, SOUP DAY!!!

IMG_0052.jpg

I made one of our favorite Local-Style (reads from Hawaii) Soup,
Portuguese (Linguica) Bean Soup!
And we must have Diamond Bakery Soda Crackers with it!

Ya ever notice that Soup doesn't photograph well?

I had a very small bowl, just to taste for seasoning,
and it's spot on!!!

What will you be making?

I forgot to say, we're suppose to get snow later today
and in to tomorrow!! Bring on the soup!

Salad - Spring mix greens, tomato, black and green olives, marinated artichoke heart, mozzarella pearls, hard-boiled egg, shredded cheddar, sliced almonds and sunflower seeds. Dressing - Olive oil, red wine vinegar, squeeze ketchup, pinch sugar, salt and pepper.

We had Chinese food delivered. I love the ten ingredient wonton soup. Frank got a combo dinner with Gen'l Tso's chicken. Both had eggrolls.

We ordered from a local TexMex resto. I had a burrito bowl and DH had a burrito and a quesadilla. That was really yummy. I love that I can get brown rice and whole wheat tortillas.
