Gosh had I know that today was National Macadamia Nut Day,
I would have made my well loved Mac-Nut Shortbread Cookies!

Today is our wedding anniversary and I do not wish to cook tonight. :flowers:
I'm really ono for (Hawaii speak for "hungry for") Prime Rib.
On Saturday's there are loads of joints here in Cowboyville
that serve Prime Rib dinners.
The only thing is that they get so crazy nuts crowded and loud and
they're just not our cup to tea for atmosphere, so I placed a take-out
order for pick-up later today for us three.

DH grilled some hot dogs and heated the hot dog buns on the grill too. I brought out that black bean and corn salad. I had two 'dogs and DH had three. In addition to the salad, he had a dill pickle. I skipped the pickle and had seconds of the salad. I am really liking this salad.

My plate, hot dogs dressed with sliced onion and Dijon mustard.

I ended up making Naan bread pizzas. Both had mozzarella and provolone cheeses, little bit of diced ham, and mushrooms. Himself also had pepperoni. I added spinach and black olives to mine. Just a bit of wine.

I had leftover potato soup w/watermelon cubes, and a dark chocolate w/sea salt mini bar for dessert. Mom had her normal grilled cheese & tomato with strawberries for dessert.

DH smoked a rack of ribs and grilled some corn and a peach. I made baked beans and added a few pieces of homemade watermelon rind pickles to our plates. Yummy summer dinner.
