Ok so I have a chinese-welsh friend who I told I would make Chinese Rarebit for his birthday...
Heres the idea so far:
Char siu pork on (pak choi (maybe))
on a welsh griddle cake
with a brains ale and soy dressing...
Its the sauce I'm not too sure about. I havn't made it yet but I'm quite sure its gonna need something else - - Sweeten it up with honey, rice wine vinegar, shao xing? sweet sour style.
Any ideas for a different sauce. This is new ground guys and I'm looking for some 'out of the (takeaway) box' ideas..
