I bought a new grill today. My most recent one, a Broil King, was crap. It rotted out in 4 years. A piece of the heavy cast iron grate actually broke off in my hand. It was time.

I decided the best way to go was to get a new Weber gas grill, but a smaller one. This way I could save on the initial cost and still have the quality and durability. I ended up with a 2 burner Weber. It will fit neatly on our small condo deck. The one drawback is that I'll have to assemble it. I didn't want to wait two weeks+ for them to do it.

So now I am the proud owner of a RED Weber 2 burner grill.

Thanks guys. SO is happy it's smaller than the last one. Gives her more room on the deck.

That's a beauty alright Andy!

Congratulation!

Weber's sure aren't cheap, it's an investment for sure!

I put it off and put it off for years, thinking that I was
better off buying the cheap-o brands and replacing
it every so many years.

I've had mine now for four years; it lives outside in the
elements year round, but it has a super-duper strong Weber cover
on it at all times, well, unless I'm using it that is

I know that you'll have many, many years of good meals from it!

It's a good news/bad news situation.

The Good News: I started to assemble the new grill this morning. Took all the components out of the box and started an inventory.

Now I have to wait for Ace Hardware to get me replacement parts.

That's terrible!
I hope they at least offer you some kind of store credit or gift card for you inconvenience.

I picked up the replacement lid for the grill and assembled it. It went together pretty easily. I know because my neighbor commented that I appeared to be in a good mood and I was almost done!

I didn't want to wait two more weeks for a red replacement so I went with basic black. At least it's shiny.
