i am a grumpy old man !! i have been smoking meat for almost 40 years , i do not use or like all this fancy high tec junk !! i only cook things a few things very well , ribs , boston butts and consider myself a master at frying chicken ,why ? because i think i have earned the right to say that !!!!!!!
everything else we can talk about
 
oh and i forgot to tell you that i/we have been making sausage for a little over 10 years , we only do 2 kinds of sausage , smoked links and breakfast sausage . with that said i can tell you that we make about 250-300 lbs per year

Welcome to DC. How many people are you feeding? A family or a restaurant or family and friends?
 
well it started when i had a small BBQ joint, then after i retired it was just going to be for the two of us , then we started cooking for friends , with smoked sausage , then came the fried chicken , now on any given day, we might be cooking for just the two of us or 30-40
 
well believe it or not , other than when i had the bbq joint , i/we have never charged or asked anyone for a penny
