The Dodecanese has indeed 12 islands but also 150 smaller Greek islands in the Aegian.

'Local' dishes I take you mean my Kalymnian counterpart? In this, they would be simple food like pulses, soups, salads, stews but some lovely British desserts of which I am particularly fond of the trifles.
