Hi all. Wow. What a GREAT site. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to be surrounded by others who find the same joy I do by being in the kitchen or surrounded by great cookbooks, a stocked pantry, and well-worn pots and pans. I'm a quasi-pro candy maker in my "spare" time, which means that when I get my orders, I'm cooking all night so as not to miss my day job. I live with my groom of 9 years and a furry beast. We all love food. Most nights we eat at home because I can't imagine finding a restaurant with better food than we make here. Our favorite ethnic food is thai, though, and we haven't ventured into making that at home. I'm looking forward to spending time on this site to learn about you, cooking, and things that I don't even know that I don't know. Thanks for being here!
