What you need:
Cup:
4 Cups Flour
1lb Butter
12oz Cream Cheese

Filling:
4 Eggs
3 Cups Sugar
4Tsp Melted Butter
1Tsp Vanilla
Ground Nuts

Combine flour, butter and cream cheese. In separate dish combine eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla for filling. Put dough in small cupcake tin and put 1tsp of filling and 1tsp of nuts inside dough. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Makes about 8 dozen. :D

This looks really yummy. Do you suppose I could substitute chocolate chips for nuts? My daughter is allergic.

Have fun

Sure, you can put chocolate chips on top instead. It's your preference. Some people have put raisins on top, but I don't like it that way. Have fun with it! :D

Toccis--Tassies??

Hi, When you bake these, does the dough bake up and over to seal in the nut part--or are they like little open-face pies? My mother used to make little treats called Pecan Tassies and I was wondering if these are the same under a different name. The Tassies look like tiny pecan pies, with thick cookie-like crusts.

Yes it's pretty much like that, they don't cover the top the top is exposed with the filling in it. I love them they are soo good.
