When I brought Mork and Mindy home as kittens from my dad's in Mississippi, a 2 day trip with 1 driver, Mork yowled for hours the first day, until he got so hoarse he couldn't make any noise. Thank goodness he got it out of his system and was quiet on drives after.
Oh! Don't remind me! Stanley was great until 4AM, when he woke up and realized he didn't have his littermates with him! He SCREAMED from Southern Oregon all the way home to SW Washington. We were literally sick to our stomach. Fortunately, once home we discovered that he LOVES TV and Country Music. His new sister, Phoebe, wasn't too happy either. She kept looking at me like, "I wanted a sister! Take him back!" :ROFLMAO:

It's our kitten's first Christmas! (Yes, I know I am touched when it comes to them.) As children, we would get to stay up to "witness the miracle" at midnight. According to our grandparents, animals could talk right at midnight. I will share that we would fall asleep long before midnight but, in my child's memory, we always heard them talk. Sometimes they would hush one another knowing we were near. It's a sweet memory. So the kittens and I have napped all day, but I think I may try to wait for the miracle this year.

We also used to listen to the radio for Santa's whereabouts. I remember worrying that he would be shot down a few times before the military escorted him safely across borders. I'm currently seeing he is entering Nunavut, Canada in less than a minute!

@Kathleen @frank Z, HOW COME THERE ARE ONLY TWO STOCKINGS HANGING FROM THE FIREPLACE MANTEL.

YOU ARE CRUEL FIENDS! SHAME ON YOU! WHERE ARE THE OTHER THREE?

I'm sure you will find coal in both of them. Just as I'm sure the kittens will find extra treats under the tree.
There are three...

Our Timi owns the house, and us. She does what she wants when she wants, and lets us know if things are not to her liking. In return, she lets us rub her tummy, sleep on our bed, and give her treats. She also likes the Christmas tree (to sleep under, but not climb). It is also a handy drinking bowl. She doesn't have to walk all the way to the kitchen.
