Oyster Po' Boys

Picked up a 2 pound tub of shucked oysters for Po' Boys. These were the biggest oysters I've seen. I only got 12 oysters out of the 2 pounds. The first pic looks like fried chicken, nope, huge oysters...... Ah well, they made some tasty sandwiches.....

I got the recipe here. It's an awesome start, the flour/cornmeal combo needs more seasoning.

Wow Nice Oysters and fry job. Po Boys is my favorite food group. Little too much lettuce on the one in the pic for my taste buds anyway. When you get around to serving me up a couple kindly cut the lettuce and sub out some thick slices of home growed tomaters. Yep that should work Thanks. I will be expecting you shortly. Maybe Canadians eat a lot of lettuce eh?

I thought it looked like chicken, that's for sure. Those are huge. Great looking sandwich.
