Do you also pay for internet service?

Yes...and no.

All we can get up here is satellite. I had Starlink, which was $120 a month, until I couldn't afford it anymore. So I went on Pause. Then Starlink began making the people on Pause go on Standby for $5 a month. We get a little internet for that. It's super, super slow. Like a web page takes a couple minutes to load slow.

Some things I can't do are view movies and videos on YouTube. I can't read the news at MSN and I can't open the comments on Yahoo news. And it's a royal pain in the rear to try to get my email to open.

Other than that, I can get on my forums and and read some of the stuff at Bored Panda and Reddit.

So yeah, I'm paying $5 a month for internet. Am I getting all the internet offers for $5 a month? Not really but it will have to do for now.

I'm with you. I'm currently carrying around 4 git cards that are hard to use. I'm not happy about that.
I just found this out about my gift card and it might work for yours.

Now Winco doesn't take credit cards, but Safeway does and I assume so do all other major stores. At Safeway tonight, I slid the gift card through (it doesn't have a chip) and instead of hitting debit, I just hit enter to put it through on credit. It went through like a charm. Who'da thunk?

Do you have cel phone coverage? Is it 5G? If so, your phone can be an internet HotSpot. With the right plan, you can get unlimited data on your phone, so you can connect to the internet with no extra fees.
